As 2015 draws to a close and 2016 opens before us with new possibilities and new challenges, I look back over the year and some of the decisions that I made. It has been a tumultuous year for me. I have been trying to launch my writing career, while working as a nurse.

I believe that we all have our place in life, and right now things, though I have had upheaval seem to fall into place. In December I started my own publishing house. I am getting queries most of which are good. My cousin Terra has signed on to help me build this publishing house. It was created to give those authors that write epics a home to start out as.

I have also resolved to publish three of my own books each year. One of my Jason and Mortyiene mysteries, people just can’t get enough of Edwardynah. One of my epic series, this one takes the longest both to write and to edit. The manuscripts are over 800 pages. And finally my Lovecraftian horror, I am using my writers group as a beta reader for that.

I have found a really good proofreader in Red to Black editing. They have given me some awesome insights. I am sure that my books will be stronger with their help.

While I work at my nursing job, I have time to work on my writing, my editing and wading through slush. I also write my blog in the late hours of Friday night in hopes of posting before midnight.
